I met this woman in a mountain trail… Next to the village where she live. Told me that she has never been in Novara, my town, at only 50 km and 1 hour trip… and that she saw the Cupola of San Gaudenzio, (a dome) symbol of my town, only on the newspapers…
It’s been an amazingly, beautiful meeting…

I’ve met people like that. Content with their home town/village, feeling no need to explore. For a travel addict like me that is always so astonishing to hear and try to relate to. Maybe part of me envies them a bit: they are happy with what they have.
